It’s that passion that led him to purchase the track and make it a beacon for the community. Josh Antley is overjoyed and thankful for the outpouring of support from the community of Wrens and Jefferson County, as well as the racers who may drive hours to show up and race.

AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) -Drought conditions in the CSRA have dropped water levels about seven feet below full pool at Clarks Hill, prompting the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers to reduce water releases. At this time of year, the full pool would typically be at 330 feet. The lake is currently at drought trigger level two. “Our rules are based on pool elevation. So once they go down, we have three trigger levels,” Stan Simpson, lead water manager, said.
