What qualities were you looking for in the young actors beyond their singing and performing abilities? I wanted to see them as themselves. That natural star power that only comes from being your authentic self. I didn’t want to see who they thought I wanted them to be. I am sold more on an actor from my conversation with them during an audition than I am watching them perform dialogue from the movie. Two perfect examples of this were Hudson Stone and Casey Trotter.

Average Joe just returned for a second season. What can audiences expect this time around, and what continues to excite you about the series? In season 2, the audience can expect the dynamics on every level to be raised. The action is bigger, the location is vastly bigger and broader, the relationships intensify, and the stakes are higher.

Alongside the signature CAPVIN pizza, the new menu introduces a more traditional style based on a family recipe from Neapolitan pizzaiolo Vincenzo Capuano. The familiar gold scissors remain, with pizzas cut tableside as part of the ritual. Capuano is central to the story.
