Animation studio MAPPA has announced a special 15th anniversary lineup presentation, set to stream on its official YouTube channel on June 19. The event will feature updates on several of the studio’s major projects, alongside the reveal of entirely new ones. According to the announcement, the presentation will include new information related to Chainsaw Man and Dorohedoro, two of MAPPA’s upcoming titles.

The World Is Dancing Anime Reveals Music Trailer, Yoji Matsuda & Miyuki Sawashiro Join Cast

The upcoming historical anime The World Is Dancing has revealed a new official music trailer, additional cast members, and character visuals ahead of its July 2 premiere. The newly released trailer introduces Yoji Matsuda as Inuo and Miyuki Sawashiro as Shirabyoshi while also previewing the songs performed by Yumiri Hanamori as Oniyasha and Romi Park as Zojiro. It was also confirmed that cast members will perform songs featured within the anime.

Illustrator neco’s original multimedia project Heavy Armored High School Girls is officially getting a TV anime adaptation, with the premiere set for 2027. The adaptation marks the franchise’s first animated project. Originally launched as a series of illustrations based on the concept of “armed girls × high school students,” Heavy Armored High School Girls has released numerous figure releases and collaborations, with a big following both in Japan and overseas.
