The primary threat will be damaging wind gusts that could reach up to 60 mph, capable of knocking down tree branches and causing power outages. What to Expect Tuesday Conditions will remain relatively quiet through the morning commute, but storm chances increase significantly after midday.

FIRST ALERT WEATHER DAY TUESDAY: Windy in the morning with gusts up to 40 mph. A few pop-up showers into the noon hour with winds falling down a tick, but a cold front around 2-4 pm will ramp up winds one more time and bring in a line of thunderstorms. These storms could have some strong winds gusts over 50 mph as well as some lightning. After the front passes, winds will calm and skies will begin to break into the evening. High 61F. Wind S 25-35, gusts to 45 mph.
