Have you ever used a typewriter?

Yes

What's your favorite social network?

Despite its problems, I have a hard time giving up Twitter. There's no better resource for day-to-day use.

Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?

Yes. I was the sports editor and a news contributor.

What story are you most proud of writing or working on?

The early pandemic work I was able to do on our governor's blacklisting of multiple news outlets drew attention to the practice.

When's the best time to pitch you?

Anytime! I'm always open to hearing ideas and learning more about a potential subject.

What's your favorite drink?

Coffee - no cream, no sugar, just black.

Aside from your own, what's your favorite publication to read?

The Wall Street Journal was formative in terms of learning about journalism and the breadth of reporting it provides.
