Tokens Are Not Securities Original
Programming note: Money Stuff will be off tomorrow and Friday, back on Monday. In the late 2010s and early 2020s, you could raise hundreds of millions of dollars for a business by selling “tokens” “of” the business, tokens that were in some loose but definite sense linked to the economic success of that business.
Contextual computation by competitive protein dimerization networks
Main text (Cell , 1984–2002.e1–e6; April 3, 2025) In the original version of this article, the citation for Nikitin, 2023 was improperly grouped with two other references that explore competitive dimerization through computational analyses.
Anti-Private Equity Is Good Business

Make the Predictions Come True
In theory, a thing that you could do is: There are, obviously, a lot of things wrong with this sequence of events. For one thing, you are trying to do market manipulation; you are trying to push up the price of Consolidated Widgets stock based on false information, which is illegal. Also the bribery and death threats are bad.
Lever the Predictions Original
The way the stock market works is that if a share of stock trades at $50, you can buy it for $50, and then if it goes up to $55 you can sell it for $55 and make a $5 profit. The way the market for crude oil works is different. If crude oil is trading at $95 per barrel, you can’t really send your broker $95 and get back a barrel of oil.
New York Court of Appeals Rules on Good Guy Guaranty; Highlights the Need for Precision in Drafting Commercial Agreements | JD Supra
On October 21, 2025, in 1995 CAM LLC v. West Side Advisors, LLC, the New York Court of Appeals delivered a ruling concerning a guarantor’s liability under a “good guy” guaranty. As other legal practitioners have noted, the Court’s upholding of a guarantor’s right to terminate its continuing obligations under a good guy guaranty is significant in the context of commercial leasing.

The “Art” of the Commercial Real Estate Lease Term Sheet – Retail Leases | JD Supra
In our prior article, The “Art” of the Commercial Real Estate Lease Term Sheet, we discussed the importance of an accurate term sheet reflecting the material terms of the proposed commercial lease, and how in the absence of such a term sheet the risk of the lease transaction being delayed or additional costs being incurred, and even the risk of the transaction being terminated, during the lease negotiation process is heightened considerably.

Seizing Opportunities in Commercial Real Estate: Why 2024-2025 Could Be Your Moment
The commercial real estate landscape is approaching a critical turning point. Unlike the 2008 crisis that primarily impacted residential properties, today's challenges stem from unprecedented shifts in how we work and shop. With nearly $1 trillion in commercial real estate loans maturing by the end of 2024, savvy investors are positioning themselves for what could be a significant buying opportunity.

Principles of Computation by Competitive Protein Dimerization Networks
Abstract Many biological signaling pathways employ proteins that competitively dimerize in diverse combinations. These dimerization networks can perform biochemical computations, in which the concentrations of monomers (inputs) determine the concentrations of dimers (outputs). Despite their prevalence, little is known about the range of input-output computations that dimerization networks can perform (their "expressivity") and how it depends on network size and connectivity.

Nearly one week removed from the No. 5 Ohio State men’s gymnastics team’s victory at the Navy Open Jan. 21, senior captain Donovan Hewitt made something clear to his teammates: In the grand scheme, the victory “doesn’t matter.” “It doesn’t matter because, ‘Congrats on winning the Navy Open,’ yes, it’s awesome, but that’s not the Big Tens, that’s not coming top three in the NCAAs,” Hewitt said.
Self-Reporting Misconduct to NYDFS: It’s Not Your ‘Monaco Memo’ (Part Two)
