A HEAT ADVISORY has been issued for Jackson County, Josephine County, eastern Curry County, Klamath County, Lake County and western, central and eastern Siskiyou County through 11 PM Friday. Pearce Park Road Fire stopped in Grants Pass

GRANTS PASS, Ore. - Forward progress has been stopped for the Pearce Park Road Fire in Grants Pass Tuesday evening. Aircraft have been released from the incident, and the fire remains estimated at approximately 1 acre. Firefighters made quick work of the fire despite temperatures in the 90s this evening. The fire prompted the Josephine County Sheriff's Office to issue a Level 3 (GO NOW!) Evacuation from Moon Mountain Road to Moon Mountain RV Park.
