‘Everything’s gone’: Community reacts after house fire kills one, displaces Ogden family

OGDEN, Utah (ABC4) — An Ogden community is reeling after a house fire killed one and displaced four others early Friday morning. According to the Ogden Fire Department, they responded to a structure fire in the 600 block of 3rd street just after 12:09 a.m. on Friday. Residents were reporting heavy fire and smoke. Before crews arrived on scene, a neighbor was able to help several residents of the home evacuate, though there was one resident unaccounted for. Julie Gegroot, one neighbor, said.
