KTVX, virtual channel 4 (UHF digital channel 40), is an ABC-affiliated television station located in Salt Lake City, Utah, United States. The station is owned by the Nexstar Broadcasting Group, as part of a duopoly with CW affiliate KUCW (channel 30). The two stations share studio facilities located on West 1700 South in Salt Lake City (along I-215), and its transmitter is located atop Farnsworth Peak in the Oquirrh Mountains, southwest of Salt Lake City. The station is also available on Comcast channel 4 and in high definition on digital channel 652. The station has a large network of broadcast translators that extend its over-the-air coverage throughout Utah, as well as portions of Idaho, Nevada and Wyoming. Source

A judge in Vinton County accepted the findings of an evaluation report for Gary Siders Sr. Vinton County Prosecutor William Archer did not object to the findings. The 73-year-old Siders appeared in court in a wheelchair.

NEW YORK (AP) — A racketeering conspiracy trial of Huawei Technologies began in New York on Wednesday with federal prosecutors accusing the Chinese tech company of a litany of crimes, including stealing technology from American companies, abusing the U.S. financial system and helping Iran snoop on its citizens. Huawei is the world’s biggest supplier of gear for wireless telecom networks, but it is banned from selling equipment to U.S. carriers over fears it poses a security risk.

New 9/11 moment of silence this year will honor victims of toxic exposure

On the 25th anniversary of the terror attacks, there will be a special moment of silence observed in honor of those who lost their lives to 9/11-related health issues. About 150,000 people are registered with the World Trade Center Health Program, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

NEW YORK (AP) — Former U.S. poet laureate Robert Pinsky has received a $100,000 lifetime achievement award and poet-children’s author Nikki Grimes has been named the next Young People’s Poet Laureate, the Poetry Foundation announced Wednesday. Pinsky, an acclaimed poet and translator who served as U.S. laureate under the auspices of the Library of Congress from 1997-2000, won the Ruth Lilly Poetry Prize.
