LIMERICK, Maine (WMTW) – A New Jersey family has filed a wrongful death lawsuit after their 6-year-old daughter died in a freak badminton accident. The lawsuit alleges the badminton racket was defective. Lucy Morgan died while her family was vacationing in Maine two years ago. “I don’t think anyone can ever recover from the loss of a child,” Travis Brennan, the attorney for the Morgan family, said.

17-year-old on life support after breaking neck on last day of lifeguard internship
SAN DIEGO (KGTV) – A 17-year-old has spent more than two weeks on life support after he broke his neck during lifeguard training in California. The accident happened when Finn Renard took a dive into the ocean off Mission Bay on his last day of his junior lifeguard internship. Nineteen days after he broke his neck, Finn is in the ICU and on life support. “Just please pray for him,” Courtney Renard, Finn’s mother, said.
