PRESIDIO COUNTY, Texas (KOSA) - A man has been arrested on a nationwide extradition warrant in Presidio County, according to the Presidio County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies working Operation Stonegarden conducted a traffic stop on U.S. Highway 67 for unsafe passing in a no-passing zone. During the traffic stop, the driver, Zachary Brown, 29, was found to have an active nationwide extradition warrant for smuggling contraband into a correctional facility, said officials.

PRESIDIO COUNTY, Texas (KOSA) - A 22-year-old driver fell asleep behind the wheel and ended up crashing their car into a creek, said the Presidio County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies were called to a single-car rollover accident around 2:00 A.M. on Saturday morning just one mile south of Shafter. Joel Nuñez Jr. with the sheriff’s office reported that the car, a Toyota Corolla, left the road and ended up in Cibolo Creek.
