AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - U.S. Sen. Jon Ossoff says children of military service members should be able to stay on their parents’ TRICARE plan until age 26. Ossoff told 12 On Your Side he is backing legislation that would extend TRICARE coverage for military families in a way that mirrors one of the most popular provisions of the Affordable Care Act. Under the Affordable Care Act, many young adults can stay on a parent’s private health insurance plan until age 26.
