Michael Woods’s Biography
Michael Woods is a veteran boxing journalist and broadcaster with more than 25 years covering the fight game. He began his career at NY Newsday, later wrote for ESPN The Magazine and The Ring, and founded NYFights. Woods has called fights ringside for Linacre Media/Boxlab Promotions on DAZN and was featured in the Netflix documentary Counterpunch.
Based in Brooklyn, Woods is also the creator and host of Everlast’s Talkbox podcast and former First Vice President of the Boxing Writers Association of America (2013–2021).
