Love ’em or hate ’em, superhero movies have become some of the biggest movies in the world. Some have missed the mark, but others have started to ascend genre and be hailed as some of the best movies of all time. Everyone remembers seeing Captain America saying the famous line in Endgame. We have also seen many stories of struggle and perseverance, sometimes in a world where the heroes aren’t wanted. Deep down, we also face some of the struggles heroes face on screen in our daily lives.

The disastrous Xbox One announcement is a day gamers will never forget, and not for good reasons. It’s a shame because the best Xbox One games are an absolute delight to play. Xbox slowly abandoned the course and, in the process, helped the Xbox One become about games rather than restrictive DRM. A lot of quality titles are on the Xbox One, and most of them are inexpensive. Combined with Game Pass, the Xbox One is still a great system today.

Dark Souls II is often being scrutinized instead of being shown love. Not in my presence. Yeah, it’s the middle child of the series, comes in a little weirder, doesn’t quite walk or talk like the others, and shows up to family gatherings wearing slightly different armor physics. That doesn’t mean it is any less of a game. Scholar of the First Sin is packed with three DLCs and expands the world. It is a game worth playing and defending. Don’t think so? Meet me in the arena.
