Mosabber Hossain is a reporter of The Daily Prothom Alo, the most read newspaper of Bangladesh, and a contributor reporter of the Thomson Reuters Foundation. He wrote many articles and reports on the International Crimes Tribunal in Bangladesh, Telecom, youth, climate, politics, children, and social issues.
As a young reporter, he received the South Asian Inquirer Investigative Journalism Award by Thomson Foundation, London, UK for his investigation report on the financial corruption in the telecom sector in Bangladesh. As a part of the award, he received several Investigative Journalism training from BBC, Financial Times, Channel-4, and Google UK headquarter.

Investigative Reporters and Editors Inc. is a grassroots nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the quality of investigative reporting. IRE was formed to create a forum in which journalists throughout the world could help each other by sharing story ideas, newsgathering techniques and news sources.
IRE provides members access to thousands of reporting tip sheets and other materials through its Resource Center and hosts conferences and specialized training across the country. Programs of IRE include the National Institute for Computer-Assisted Reporting (NICAR), a collaboration between IRE and the Missouri School of Journalism.

He participated as a global speaker at the 9the Global conference of the Global Investigative Journalism Network, Norway in 2015. This conference ensures the largest gathering of Investigative Journalists around the world.

Mosabber completed the Investigating Environment and Climate Change Reporting mentorship by Linnaeus University, Sweden, and MRDI Bangladesh. He also completed International Investigative Journalism training from Turkey in 2017 organized by the Turkish Radio and Television Corporation.
He won the ICT Award for the best report on the ICT sector of Bangladesh in 2011. Besides, he was nominated for the UNICEF Bangladesh Mina award 2014 for his reports on children's issues.
