We present J1221$-$1354, a precessing AGN discovered in the MeerKAT Absorption Line Survey (MALS) using deep L-band (0.9--1.6\,GHz) radio data. Its `S'-shaped morphology, revealed by the excellent surface brightness sensitivity of MeerKAT, is consistent with jet precession. Ancillary optical and infrared data establish the source as a Type 2 AGN in a moderately overdense environment.

Absence of 3a0 charge density wave order in the infinite-layer nickelate NdNiO2 - Nature Materials
Abstract A hallmark of many unconventional superconductors is the presence of many-body interactions that give rise to broken-symmetry states intertwined with superconductivity. Recent resonant soft X-ray scattering experiments report commensurate 3a0 charge density wave order in infinite-layer nickelates, which has important implications regarding the universal interplay between charge order and superconductivity in both cuprates and nickelates.

Micro-electromechanical-system-tuned resonant filters spanning the 8-12 µm band
Abstract The spectral band covering ${\sim}{8 {-} 12}\;\unicode{x00B5}{\rm m}$ is atmospherically transparent and therefore important for terrestrial imaging, day/night situational awareness systems, and spectroscopic applications. There is a dearth of tunable filters spanning the band. Here, we propose and demonstrate a new, to the best of our knowledge, tunable-filter method engaging the fundamental physics of the guided-mode resonance (GMR) effect realized with a non-periodic lattice.
Resonant filters with concurrently tuned central wavelengths and sidebands
Abstract Tunable infrared filters are important for various optical and optoelectronic systems. Ideally, such filters should span wide spectral ranges while retaining constant performance. Here, as a fundamental approach, we theoretically treat tunable resonant filters and realize favorable spectral profiles. Implementing a chirped zero-contrast grating on wedged sublayers, we optimize the resonant tunable filter for operation in the $\sim{5 - 14}\;{\unicode{x00B5}{\rm m}}$ band.

Impact of Lockdown on Ambient Air Quality in COVID-19 Affected Hotspot Cities of India: Need to Readdress Air Pollution Mitigation Policies
1. Introduction The Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak has been declared by World Health Organization (WHO) as a global pandemic on 11 March 2020, due to its rapid spread over large parts of the world. The virus was first reported from Wuhan City, Hubei Province, China on December 31, 2019 (WHO, 2020). By January 30, 2020, the WHO declared the outbreak as a Public Health Emergency of International Concern.
Unpolarized resonant notch filters for the 8-12 µm spectral region
Abstract The long-wave infrared (LWIR) spectral region spanning ${\sim}{8 - 12}\;\unicode{x00B5}{\rm m}$ is useful for many scientific and industrial applications. As traditional multilayer film components are not straightforwardly realized at these bands, we provide design, fabrication, and testing of polarization independent bandstop filters based on the guided-mode resonance (GMR) effect.
