Salience network hub dysfunction is associated with cognitive impairment in self-limited epilepsy with centrotemporal spikes: An OPM-MEG study
Children with SeLECTS showed lower planning, attention, successive processing, and full-scale CAS scores. OPM-MEG revealed reduced theta-, alpha-, and beta-band connectivity, most prominently in the beta band. Reduced beta-band salience network centrality was associated with poorer cognition and may be a MEG marker. 1 INTRODUCTION SeLECTS is the most common idiopathic focal epilepsy in childhood.

Non-sticky SiNx nanonets for single protein denaturation analysis
Non-sticky SiNx nanonets for single protein denaturation analysis† Proteins play crucial roles in nearly all biological activities, with their functional structures deriving from stable folded conformations. Protein denaturation, induced by chemical and physical agents, is a complex process where proteins lose their stable structures, thereby impairing their biological functions. Characterizing protein denaturation at the single-molecule level remains a significant challenge.
A Continuous Space Path Planning Method for Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Based on Particle Swarm Optimization-Enhanced Deep Q-Network
1. Introduction An unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) is a semi-autonomous aircraft that operates without the need for an onboard pilot. Due to their high flexibility and strong maneuverability, UAVs are widely used in both civilian and industrial fields, such as rescue operations, agriculture, and power line inspections [1]. Path planning is crucial for the execution of tasks by UAVs and represents a significant challenge for autonomous UAVs in engineering applications.

Palladium/norbornene-catalyzed C-H/N-H cycloaddition of carbazoles with 2-halobenzoic acid derivatives
Palladium/norbornene-catalyzed C-H/N-H cycloaddition of carbazoles with 2-halobenzoic acid derivatives An example of palladium/norbornene-catalyzed C-H/N-H cycloaddition of carbazoles with 2-bromobenzoic acids is presented, in which a collection of important carbazoles is expeditiously obtained. Derivatives including acyl halides, α-oxocarboxylic acids, anhydrides, and even amides are all allowable. Preliminary mechanistic studies reveal that a rare six-membered spiropalladacycle is involved.

Exploration of signature based on T cell-related genes in stomach adenocarcinoma by analysis of single cell sequencing data
Background: Gastric cancer (GC) is a leading reason for the death of cancer around the world. The immune microenvironment counts a great deal in immunotherapy of advanced tumors, in which T cells exert an indispensable function.

Homogeneous vs Heterogeneous Catalysts for Acceptorless Dehydrogenation of Biomass-Derived Glycerol and Ethanol Towards Circular Chemistry
Homogeneous vs Heterogeneous Catalysts for Acceptorless Dehydrogenation of Biomass-Derived Glycerol and Ethanol Towards Circular Chemistry The benefits of transitioning to chemical and material circularity are readily apparent. However, identifying and developing the necessary chemical transformations for platform chemical recycling is a significant challenge.

[2306.01343] Bilevel Fast Scene Adaptation for Low-Light Image Enhancement
Enhancing images in low-light scenes is a challenging but widely concerned task in the computer vision. The mainstream learning-based methods mainly acquire the enhanced model by learning the data distribution from the specific scenes, causing poor adaptability (even failure) when meeting real-world scenarios that have never been encountered before.

Porous Zn-MOF with two diverse cages synthesized using functionalized biphenyl tricarboxylic acid: CO2 selective adsorption and fixation
Porous Zn-MOF with two diverse cages synthesized using functionalized biphenyl tricarboxylic acid: CO2 selective adsorption and fixation† A cage-like MOF has demonstrated tremendous potential in gas selective adsorption and CO2 catalysis due to its distinctive structural features. Accordingly, a novel cage-like MOF 1 was synthesized using the biphenyl tricarboxylic acid ligand, (1,1′-biphenyl)-2,4,6-tricarboxylic acid (H3L), and Zn(II) via a solvothermal reaction.

Predicting skin permeation rate from nuclear magnetic resonance spectra
In order to systematically approach the design of chemicals with minimal toxicity we are in need of predictive tools that can be applied seamlessly during chemical synthesis and characterization. Our approach is to develop models that utilize spectroscopic data, called Quantitative Spectrometric Data-Activity Relationships, to predict bioavailability and toxicity. Such models do not require knowledge of chemical structure and can be applied to chemical mixtures.
