Closing the screening gap but not the writing gap: a two-topic evaluation of LLMs for systematic reviews and meta-analyses in hepatology

Abstract Systematic reviews are essential but labor-intensive. We evaluated LLM-assisted literature screening and drafting in two hepatology topics: carvedilol in compensated cirrhosis and anticoagulation in portal vein thrombosis. For each topic, we searched PubMed, Cochrane, and EMBASE. A few-shot prompt with explicit inclusion/exclusion criteria was used to screen titles and abstracts, with results compared to manual review.

Abstract Smart rings enable unobtrusive monitoring of cardiovascular vital signs via photoplethysmography (PPG), yet rigorous validation is limited by the scarcity of open, multi-parameter datasets. We present HealthRing, three synchronized cohorts from 54 adults: (i) scripted physiological stimuli (Study 1), (ii) semi-free-living daily activities (Study 2), and (iii) motion-intensive treadmill running with natural arm swing that induces substantial motion artefacts (Study 3).

This process exerts antibacterial effects, aids in tissue repair, and promotes healing. Methods: Our study presented a novel kind of composite wound dressing that incorporated an adhesive conductive hydrogel (PTP) combined with a piezoelectric film (P/M) for NIR- responsive applications.
