On July 9, CBS News Philadelphia is proud to celebrate a momentous milestone in Ukee's career as he marks 40 years with the station. Ukee Washington at the Eyewitness Sports desk Ukee, who was raised in West Philly, came home in 1986 after stops in Fort Myers and Atlanta and manned the sports desk for another 10 years.

For more than two centuries, Mother African Union Church in Wilmington, Delaware, stood the test of time and served as a pillar of faith in the community. A fire in May ripped through the church's hallowed walls and may have structurally destroyed much of the building, but it did not destroy the drive to continue a historic religious and cultural summer festival.

Alex Scott's wish was that she could hold lemonade stands to raise money so that doctors could help kids like her, and that is what's happening. Children all over the country are holding lemonade stands and donating the money to Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation. The fundraising is helping doctors and scientists create new cancer treatments and cures. The doctors who treated Alex say her dream is slowly coming true.
