The job is simple in theory: be the conveyor of information. Simply transmit what I see and learn to my audience so they know what's going on

Hardware: Windows 11 PC /M1 MacBook Pro (when away from the desk). Software: MS Edge/Outlook/OneNote Scrivener for long-form writing.

What's your favorite social network?

Right now Threads is fire.

Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?

No, but I did work for my college paper. I was the Innovations Editor and a general assignment reporter. Also helped with page layout.

What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?

Don't let the bad image of journalism fool you -- it's a highly satisfying career filled with devoted professionals.

Irish whiskey on the rocks

Riding my bike around the Rideau Canal or reading a book in my old black leather chair.
