Why did you become a journalist?

I grew up in a family, where we told stories and listened to stories. In a way, I am in the family business.

The best time to pitch me it before 8 a.m. with a text or a DM.

What's the most common misperception about your beat?

The fault line in Washington are not Republican v. Democrat, it Washington v. the rest of America.
