Kings may hide in their castle, but democratic politicians meet with ordinary people and hear what they have to say.That is why it is concerning that Rep. George Latimer told a group of activists that he will not attend a town hall type meeting anytime soon.

The Connecticut legislature is considering two bills that would transform how the state establishes its vaccine policies. To their proponents, the bills enable the state to respond to the Trump administration’s new guidelines about immunization practices. To their critics, the bills lay the foundation for adult vaccine mandates and foreclose the possibility of reinstating the religious exemption.
