We’ve created a Book Festival! You’ve read about our vintage trailer bookstore, also known as Bookcase Books. We’ve now fully broken it in all over the Catskills. Over the past few months, we’ve discovered that our favorite part of being booksellers actually isn’t selling books. It’s helping readers find their next favorite one.

We are still reeling from the glory that is the Red Caboose Motel in Lancaster Country, and you can read all about it here. But suffice it to say, our lodging was only the beginning of the heaps of fun we had over 3 days among the Amish… and the trains, and the theme parks. After the train museum we set forth to a working Amish farm called Old Windmill Farm.

We’ve give you the hint, we’ve given you the spiel on how important pre-orders are to authors. Now give Jo a solid and pre-order your copy of The Parisian Inheritance. Remember, anyone who does gets a free subscription to this substack! Does my local bookstore have it? Can I pre order from them? YES! You can pre order from almost any book shop, in fact, the universe prefers it! Amazon is just fine, but it’s just as easy to support your local.
