Dua Lipa's 'Banned' Books Are a Joke
The moment I heard Dua Lipa was curating a list of ‘banned’ books, the first thing I knew for certain was that these books would definitely not be, in fact, banned. For a start it’s a tautology to point out that if they were banned she couldn’t easily get hold of them and display them in a famous bookshop (Livraria Lello in Porto). Secondly, there’s zero chance a famous mainstream pop star would decide to obliterate her career with anything genuinely controversial.

We Live In Backwards World
Brilliant piece, Nick. Thanks! It's all so maddening isn't it? We watch very little TV now because of this. We find ourselves following individuals on YouTube who adventure into wild places. Wholesome folk doing wholesome stuff and none of them claim to be women if they're men or black.if they're white. Even wedding ads only feature same sex couples. We are meant to believe men don't marry women anymore. I'm monitoring ads on FB. I'd say they are 90% black or brown faces.

Does God Desire the Salvation of All? — Logos and Life
This was a burden on my heart for years. I wanted my sister to be saved. When God captured my heart in high school, and I turned to Christ, I began to tell her about Jesus. I admit I was a bit obnoxious at times, but I just wanted her to be saved really badly. Sadly, she just never wanted to talk about it. I prayed for her to be saved every day for 13 years. One day I was talking to a faithful pastor about my burden for my sister to know Christ. He sought to encourage me by saying, “Don’t worry Nick.

Silicon Valley Bank - Get Woke, Go Broke
by Nick Dixon, Daily Sceptic: The collapse of Silicon Valley Bank may be a stark example of the ‘Get woke, go broke’ phenomenon, according to a piece in the Mail. Could Sturgeon’s Trans Fiasco Be Woke’s Berlin Wall Moment?
I remember as a young child watching the fall of the Berlin Wall. I was too young to understand that if it was just a wall, why had it been so hard to knock it down? Complex political structures being beyond my unformed mind, I was a touch too focused on the physics. But watching Nicola Sturgeon’s sudden fall from grace, and potential collapse, reminds me of how flimsy the wall of woke really is. It is built on ideas that are anything but robust. In fact, it is full of holes.

How CP24 is ready for anything, behind the scenes at the Burlington Basement Bureau
As CP24 continues to be the GTA’s around the clock source for COVID-19 updates we are changing how we operate. Some things, like having members of our team work remotely, or how we deploy our reporters and live resources, you can’t see. But one thing you’ve likely noticed is that since Monday I’ve been anchoring CP24 from home. We’ve dubbed it the Burlington Basement Bureau. And while that’s a fun nickname, it serves a serious purpose.
