Most people - especially in 2026 - would agree that politics are far too serious to be joked about. Micah O'Konis, co-creator of the NRA-centered musical dark comedy, Good Guy with a Gun, is not one of those people. It's clear in every one of this new musical's songs; Good Guy with a Gun i s set in the starkly divided world we're currently living in, with viewers being introduced to diehard conservative Ron (Chris Sullivan) and his daughter, the passionate liberal Jenna (Kimiko Glenn).
