Driver in deadly SF West Portal bus stop crash avoids jail time, pleads no contest

SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — The driver accused of killing a young family in San Francisco’s West Portal neighborhood two years ago has changed her plea from not guilty to no contest. In exchange, the judge has indicated it will impose no jail time on the 80-year-old driver. The victim’s family spoke with KRON4, saying they feel deeply disrespected.
