m6A readers in the regulation of antitumor immune response m6A readers are important mediators and executors of biological phenotypes associated with m6A modification of mRNA. Consistent with this, similar to m6A readers and writers, m6A readers have also been implicated in the regulation of antitumor immune response. For example, several studies have shown the role of YTHDF1 in immune regulation against tumor cells78–82 (figure 5).

Introduction MDS represents a heterogenous cluster of myeloid neoplasms, featured by dysplasia, ineffective hematopoiesis, with or without excessive blasts. Leukemic transformation is one of the main causes of death in MDS patients (Platzbecker et al., 2021).
