On that evening, my baby cried. No surprises there. She's an infant, after all. I knew it was colic. I took her upright and patted her back multiple times, hoping she'd let out a trace of gas. But she did not. I knew that she eventually would. There are multiple burping postures that have worked for us in the past. But this time, I did not try any of those.
