He lasted three days on an oil rig before going right back to his boat. “The man said, you just tell me you want the job, we’ll fire the other guy,” he said with a laugh. “I said, don’t fire that man, ’cause I ain’t coming back.” For more than half a century, Dyson has been fishing the coastal waters of Cameron, Louisiana.
