Skip to content Slightly warmer Labor Day Weekend Mainly dry weekend for metro/valley, a few mountain showers/T-storms “Normal” temps return next week + trending dry We’ve seen a mix of showers, sunshine, downpours and lightning today... Sometimes all in a matter of minutes! The last few hours, there have been some thundershowers on the east side of the metro heading into Washington. This is producing pockets of heavy rain and even some small hail potential. This threat will taper off this evening.

Lows tonight will be on the cooler side—thanks to clear skies. Monday morning will be around 50-55 degrees. WARMEST DAY = MONDAY Tomorrow is the only warm day this week. Highs will get into the mid/upper 80s under mostly sunny skies.

Dry end to August, but rain returns next week

Skip to content Dry Sunday, Briefly warm Monday Turning cloudy & cooler Tuesday First fall rain arrives midweek Woohoo! PDX observed a brief shower this morning, dropping 0.04″ and ending our 37-day dry streak! There was 0.06″ in Vancouver and Salem observed 0.01″. I also saw some spots with <0.10″ along the northern coastline. Rain so far Saturday(KPTV) DRY AND MAINLY SUNNY TO WRAP UP AUGUST High pressure influences our forecast for the final two days of the month.
