Along a new trailer today, Square Enix has uploaded a ton of new information regarding Final Fantasy Resonance, the upcoming HD-2D RPG. Posing the question, “What if Final Fantasy had continued to push the limits of pixel art?”, the trailer is mostly a look at the visual design of the game. I don’t think it actually works that well, as the backgrounds are far too clean to evoke old school charm, but that’s neither here nor there.

Ahead of the launch of its new Joy-Con models with replaceable batteries, Nintendo of Europe was uploaded some support articles to its website that outlines how users can swap the batteries in their controllers. Available for both the Left Joy-Con and Right Joy-Con, it gives us our first look at the interiors of these redesigned controllers and how difficult it will be to swap batteries. Spoiler alert, it’s pretty simple.

New patent suggests Nintendo may create a dock to support both Switch 1 and 2

Content Continues Below &nbsp In an interesting development spotted by Nintendo Parents Watch, it appears as if Nintendo may be preparing to manufacture a dock that supports both the Switch 1 and Switch 2 without much hassle. According to a new patent filed in China, the idea is that the console recognizes when a user has inserted a Switch 1 or 2 and changes the power delivery standard accordingly.
