LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Muriel Trowbridge, 92, spent her afternoon at Louisville’s downtown Ronald McDonald House like she always has since their doors opened in 1984. “I come every Thursday and do laundry,” Muriel explained. “I didn’t always do laundry but the house has grown from 19 rooms to 56 rooms, so we have lots of laundry now.” Trowbridge will be presented with the Governor’s Lifetime Achievement Award on April 23. It’s an honor she’s most certainly proud of.

This little piggy was found wandering about six blocks from home and returned after post on an app. A pig was found roaming the streets in a Louisville neighborhood, but that impromptu trip didn't last long. The breed of pig is called Julianna.

Engage Tri-Citiies founder Jonathan Anderson says they plan to demolish the former Hog Wild Saloon building in March. The City of Kingsport required Engage Tri-Cities, a non-profit organization, to gut the building after they acquired the property. Anderson says the cost to do that would have been over half a million dollars.
