Designing a PCB
Currently designing a pcb for a small project im working on. from what i have read on the internet, there shouldn't be any 90 degree bends in the traces as that is bad for signals and all. Well I want to join a few traces together and dont have a choice as shown below in the blue circle: The trace is for ground, doesn't actually carry a signal as such. i have been told to make triangles when joining one trace to another.
Using a cars door switch with arduino
The door switch that basically tells the cars ECU if the doors open or closed has a single wire going to it. This wire is either at 5v or 2v depending if the car is in its sleep state or not. When the door is opened however, this wire shows a ground signal or 0v. I want to tap into this wire and connect it to the Arduino to act as a trigger for a small project I'm working on. To keep it simple, I want a relay to turn on when the door is opened and turn off when the door is closed.
Printed PCB not working right with an arduino project.
Hey, I have been working on this super simple Arduino project that involves using the car door triggers (when the door is opened) as well as the Lock and Unlock Triggers to initiate a task. There are three wires that I'm tapping into, door, lock and unlock.
The Dread of Table Tennis: Ping Pong, Volume One
By Shaenon K. Garrity In manga, anything can be a no-holds-barred, blood-sweat-and-tears competition. Cooking (Iron Wok Jan). Bread baking (Yakitate! Japan). Wine tasting (Drops of God). Gambling (Gambling Apocalypse: Kaiji). Manga that inject a modern competitive spirit into Japanese cultural traditions like karuta (Chihayafuru) and rakugo (Akane-banashi) are a subgenre unto themselves. But surely the purest competition manga are sports manga.
Using a ground trigger with Arduino
Hey, i have a super simple Arduino project in mind that involves using the car door triggers (when the door is opened) to initiate a task. the car uses a ground signal as a trigger to let the ECU know that the door is opened. when closed there is no current present in the wires. Below is the factory wiring diagram to give you a clearer idea on how this system works.
Understanding how to use negative trigger with Arduino in a car
I have been working on a small project that adds the coming home feature in my car (turns the car headlights on for a set time when the car is unlocked). The wire in my car that I am tapping into shows 5v constant normally but when the car is unlocked, it pulses with a ground or low signal before returning back to 5v. However, when the car is in its sleep state, the voltage in this wire drops down to about 2.5-3v. This is the wire I'm using as a trigger for the Arduino to turn on the headlights.
