Neoadjuvant camrelizumab plus chemotherapy in resectable stage IIIA–IIIB non-small cell lung cancer: integrated multidimensional biomarker analysis from a phase II study
Neoadjuvant chemoimmunotherapy improves pathological response and survival in resectable non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), but clinical benefit remains heterogeneous and robust predictive biomarkers for patient selection and treatment monitoring are lacking. In this prospective phase II study, neoadjuvant camrelizumab plus chemotherapy demonstrated favorable efficacy and manageable safety in patients with resectable stage IIIA–IIIB NSCLC.
N-acetyl- l -leucine lowers α -synuclein levels and improves synaptic function in Parkinson’s disease models
Abstract N-acetyl-l-leucine (NALL), a derivative of the branched-chain amino acid leucine, has shown therapeutic potential for neurodegenerative diseases, including in prodromal stages of Parkinson’s disease (PD). However, the mechanism of its protective effects has been largely unknown.
Diverse Functions of Parkin in Midbrain Dopaminergic Neurons
Parkinson's disease (PD) is a progressive neurodegenerative disorder that affects 1% to 2% of the population and is typical characterized by resting tremor, rigidity, and bradykinesia. These motor symptoms of PD are largely because of the loss of dopaminergic neurons in the substantia nigra pars compacta, leading to a deficiency of dopamine in the basal ganglia.

Precursor-mediated Size Tuning of monodisperse PtRh Nanocubes as Efficient Electrocatalysts for Ethylene Glycol Oxidation
Precursor-mediated Size Tuning of monodisperse PtRh Nanocubes as Efficient Electrocatalysts for Ethylene Glycol Oxidation The tailoring and design of electrocatalysts such as Pt-based nanocubes (NCs) covered by {100} facets have received extensive attention in the past decade, nevertheless, researches of facile yet precise synthesis of PtRh NCs with different sizes have rarely reported up till now.
Particle size effects in the catalytic electrooxidation of liquid fuel on PtAg nanoparticles
Tailored design of highly efficient Pt-based bimetallic nanocatalysts for the electrooxidation of liquid fuel offer promising approach for the commercialization of fuel cells. Although extensive researches on seeking high-performance Pt-based nanocrystals for electrocatalytic reactions have been conducted, while particle size effects of bimetallic Pt-based nanoparticles (NPs) on the fuel cells reaction remain elusive.
Networked Pt-Sn Nanowires as Efficient Catalysts toward Alcohol Electrooxidation
Direct alcohol fuel cells (DAFCs), as clean and high-efficiency energy conversion devices, have been attracted growing research interest, whereas the design and creation of high-performance anode catalysts for DAFCs is still extremely desirable. Herein, we report a wet-chemical method for making bimetallic aerogel networked Pt-Sn nanowires (NWs) with tunable compositions.
Dopamine oxidation mediates mitochondrial and lysosomal dysfunction in Parkinson’s disease
Pathways involved in energy metabolism and removal of cellular debris by lysosomes play an important role in protecting our brain from degeneration in Parkinson's disease. Burbulla et al. identified a toxic cascade of mitochondrial and lysosomal dysfunction in human neurons derived from patients with Parkinson's.
Dopamine oxidation mediates mitochondrial and lysosomal dysfunction in Parkinson’s disease
Mitochondrial and lysosomal dysfunction have been implicated in substantia nigra dopaminergic neurodegeneration in Parkinson’s disease (PD), but how these pathways are linked in human neurons remains unclear. Here we studied dopaminergic neurons derived from patients with idiopathic and familial PD.
