PEDIATRIC HEART MURMUR CLASSIFICATION BY DEEP LEARNING ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE
Recognition and diagnosis of heart murmurs by auscultation is a declining skill. Studies show the ability of primary care providers to detect and classify innocent murmurs from pathology is unreliable. Echocardiography, a resource intensive and expensive technology is increasingly used to address this problem, burdening the healthcare system with unnecessary referrals and prolonging wait times.

The non-conventional yeast Yarrowia lipolytica is considered as an emerging cell factory to produce recombinant proteins (rProts) due to its specific biochemical characteristics, including a high capacity to express heterologous genes and an efficient secretion machinery [1]. It can grow at a high cell density on low-cost culture media in industrial-scale bioreactors.
Ferroelectricity and multiferroic quantum critical behaviors in ${\text{Co}}_{2}{\text{V}}_{2}{\text{O}}_{7}$
We present isothermal ferroelectric (FE) and quasiadiabatic phase diagrams for single-crystal Co2V2O7 with magnetic fields (H) along the c axis, obtained through magnetization, polarization (P), and magnetocaloric effect measurements under pulsed magnetic fields up to 30 T. The FE diagram reveals two FE phases, denoted as FE-I and FE-II, with overlapping boundaries at low temperatures (T).

Genome‐wide identification and expression analysis of SlRR genes in response to abiotic stress in tomato
Abstract The cytokinin two-component signal transduction system (TCS) is involved in many biological processes, including hormone signal transduction and plant growth regulation. Although cytokinin TCS has been well characterized in Arabidopsis thaliana, its role in tomato remains elusive. In this study, we characterized the diversity and function of response regulator (RR) genes, a critical component of TCS, in tomato. In total, we identified 31 RR genes in the tomato genome.

Spleen‐preserving versus spleen‐sacrificing distal pancreatectomy in adults with blunt major pancreatic injury
SPDP was performed more often in younger patients and at a shorter interval after severe blunt pancreatic injury. SPDP was associated with fewer reinterventions. Fifty‐one patients were included, of whom 23 underwent SPDP and 28 SSDP. The median Injury Severity Score (ISS) was 13·0 (i.q.r. 9·0–18·0). No significant differences were observed between the groups regarding sex, trauma mechanism, shock at triage, laboratory data, location, ISS, associated injury, length of stay, mortality or morbidity.
Two-dimensional electronic transport and surface electron accumulation in MoS2
Figure 1a depicts the scanning electron microscope (FESEM) images of MoS layer crystals on a dicing tape after preliminary mechanical exfoliation. The micrographs show that the stripped flakes have a random shape and that some of them retained clear sharp edges. The area size of a stripped flake (approximately less than 5 × 5 μm2) is quite smaller than that of bulk crystals (several mm2). A chemical vapor transport (CVT)-grown bulk layer crystal of MoS is presented in the insets of Fig. 1a.
Carbon budget of tidal wetlands, estuaries, and shelf waters of Eastern North America
Carbon cycling in the coastal zone affects global carbon budgets and is critical for understanding the urgent issues of hypoxia, acidification, and tidal wetland loss. However, there are no regional carbon budgets spanning the three main ecosystems in coastal waters: tidal wetlands, estuaries, and shelf waters. Here, we construct such a budget for Eastern North America using historical data, empirical models, remote-sensing algorithms, and process-based models.
