Yarmouth filmmaker Tom Bell won an Emmy for his documentary “An Extraordinary Place,” about Portland community radio station WMPG and the volunteers there.

Depending on where you live in Maine, using a digital TV antenna at your home will allow you to get programming for free from several networks, including ABC, CBS, NBC, PBS and Fox. Right now is an especially good time to try it out, since the World Cup starts June 11 and the games are on Fox.
