EXPO is the longest-running student showcase for engineering and technological innovations in the region, celebrating its 31st annual meeting. This year’s keynote speaker is Tom Mueller, a UI alumnus and a renowned space propulsion expert.

Great Debate examines whether Scripture alone is enough

The sixth annual Great Debate presented Douglas Wilson, arguing on behalf of Protestant beliefs, against Joe Heschmeyer, arguing on behalf of Catholic beliefs at the ICCU arena on Thursday, March 16. The topic of the debate was Sola Scriptura – is Scripture alone enough? Wilson’s opening argument took the affirmative of Sola Scriptura, defending the belief that the Bible is the sole infallible and ultimate source of authority that Christians should follow.

Energy Symposium to focus on regional development of clean energy

Robert Bryce, a journalist, film producer and author of texts concerning energy and politics, is scheduled to give the keynote address at the University of Idaho’s first annual Energy Symposium. The event, hosted for the first time by the UI Energy Institute, will take place March 4 and 5 with registration for the address priced at $50 for adults, $35 for seniors and $15 for students with ID.

I took high school football scores on the sports desk at The Wisconsin State Journal.

Yes, I began writing on paper with pencil and graduated to an old automatic typewriter. By college, I owned an electric typewriter.
