Categories: April 14, 2026 San Antonio artist Monzerrat Vejar focuses on nude art and nude modeling. She studies art at UT San Antonio. The Paisano had the opportunity to interview Vejar about her work. Vejar began modeling in nude about a year ago. She described what inspired her to pursue modeling and doing nude art. “I was just naturally drawn to making or drawing humans, specifically in the nude,” Vejar recalled. “That’s what we had to do in a lot of our classes.

Regan (she/her) is a second-year Film student at UTSA. She is from the Houston area, specifically Sugar Land. When not writing for the Paisano you will most likely find her thrifting, trying new coffee shops, and baking. This is her third semester at The Paisano. Armin Suljovic (He/Him) is a fourth-year student majoring in Film & Media. Born and raised in San Antonio, after graduation he plans to pursue a career in the media and entertainment industry.

Meredith Alloway, a filmmaker based in New York, recently worked as the director of “Forbidden Fruits,” a horror, witchy, femme movie touching on the complexities of female relationships. Before she became the talented director she is today, she was born and raised in Dallas, Texas, and got her Bachelor of Fine Arts in theatre studies at Southern Methodist University. The Paisano had the opportunity to interview Alloway about her films and career.
