Scattered showers and thunderstorms are watering lawns and leaving puddles across our inland areas. The sea breeze showers and storms appear as a dotted line on Exact Track 4D radar, stretching from Waycross, GA to Gainesville, FL. These will move across I-75 around 5 - 6 p.m. and then continue west, approaching the Gulf around 7 - 8 p.m. Patchy fog will be possible late tonight and early Wednesday morning as the summer pattern cools to near seasonal temperatures along with daily rain chances.

The one we have been watching in the Northeastern Atlantic remains as a non-tropical area of low pressure, several hundred miles north-northeast of the Azores. This system could acquire some subtropical or tropical characteristics this weekend while it moves east-southeastward at 10 to 15 mph toward Portugal and northwestern Spain.
