Wesley Purcell, 35, drove a gray GMC Sierra SUV from Raleigh into Hoke County, a Hoke County Sheriff’s Office news release said on Thursday.

(WNCN) — A felon was arrested after he was injured in a shootout with another person near a Raleigh popular shopping center along Capital Boulevard late Thursday night, police said. The incident was reported just before 11:25 p.m. at 4600 Capital Boulevard, across from Capital Crossing shopping center near N. New Hope Road, according to a Raleigh Police Department news release.
