Interfacial ferroelectricity at naturally-formed van der Waals interfaces
Abstract Sliding ferroelectrics emerge as compelling candidates for next-generation wafer-level non-volatile storage applications with low power consumption and high packing density.
Breathing ferroelectricity, flat-bands and multiple chiral phonons in van der Waals breathing kagome Nb 3 Cl 8
Abstract Van der Waals layered Nb3X8 (X=Cl, Br, I) are predicted to integrate multiple intriguing physical properties, notably multiferroicity and flat-bands that are highly promising for novel-principle memories and superconductors. However, direct experimental validations such as the proposed breathing ferroelectricity are lacking. Even the electronic band structure concerning flat-bands still remains inconsistent.
High-order photonic degeneracy enables topological reconfiguration in bound states in the continuum
Abstract Extreme suppression of free-space radiation in open planar photonic systems remains a long-standing goal in nanophotonics. Conventional bound states in the continuum (BICs), constrained by symmetry-protected or accidental singularities, restrict experimental Q-k scaling exponents to n = 2-8 because ordinary bands lack sufficient degrees of freedom to host, redistribute or merge additional radiation-suppressing singularities.
Non-gene-edited, CD19-targeted, allogeneic CAR-T cell therapy for relapsed or refractory B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia: an open-label, single-arm phase 1 study
Abstract Autologous chimeric antigen receptor (CAR)-T cell therapy is effective in relapsed or refractory B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (R/R B-ALL), but its clinical application is restricted by manufacturing failures, high costs, and limited accessibility. Gene-edited allogeneic CAR-T cells offer an off-the-shelf alternative, yet concerns remain regarding genomic instability and graft-versus-host disease (GVHD).

Continuous polarization–wavelength mapping with nonlocal metasurfaces
Abstract Simultaneous and continuous control over polarization and wavelength—two orthogonal and information-rich degrees of freedom—remains a central challenge in metasurface photonics, long hindered by intrinsic dispersion constraints and structural degeneracy. Here, we customize continuous polarization–wavelength mapping through a nonlocal metasurface platform that decouples birefringent evolution from structural dispersion.
Microgravity-activated high-performance van der Waals InSe ferroelectric semiconductor
Abstract The space microgravity environment, scarcely attainable on Earth, is considered to have a positive effect on crystal growth, especially the van der Waals layered materials with low interlayer sliding energy barriers. Here, we investigate the structure and optical/electrical properties of van der Waals InSe semiconductor cultivated in microgravity environment on China space station.

Multiple snapshot RFI localization fusion algorithm based on Gaussian process regression
ABSTRACT Radio frequency interferences (RFIs) in the L-band seriously contaminate remote sensing data from the synthetic aperture interferometric radiometer (SAIR). This may substantially degrade the quality of the data. Accurate localization of the RFI is the key to eliminating or mitigating the effects of the RFI. In previous studies, the localization accuracy was improved by averaging the localization results of the same RFI in multiple snapshots.

Origin, phenotype and autoimmune potential of T cells in human immune system mice receiving neonatal human thymus tissue
Introduction The availability of highly immunodeficient, NOD-scid-common gamma chain deficient (NSG) mice, that lack murine T, B and NK cells, has greatly enhanced the ability to generate human immune system (HIS) mice. One of the critical components for generating HIS mice with optimal immune function is the availability of fetal human thymus tissue. Fetal human thymus tissue supports robust human thymopoiesis from injected fetal (1) or adult (2) CD34+ cells.
