A jury has convicted two men on trial for being involved in violent disorder that afflicted Kirkton in Dundee on Halloween 2022 and acquitted two others. Stewart Burns, 41, and Jack Reynolds, 23, were both found guilty of breaching the peace on October 31 2022. After 18 Crown witnesses and three accused gave evidence, the jury convicted both men by majority, while making deletions to each of the charges they faced.

Jurors have retired to consider their verdicts on four men on trial in connection with Halloween chaos in Kirkton three years ago. As the trial at Falkirk Sheriff Court draws to a close, closing speeches were presented to jurors ahead of their deliberations. Stewart Burns, 41, Ryan Dolan, 32, Keegan Jorgensen, 21 and Jack Reynolds, 23, are all accused of breaching the peace and Reynolds is accused of disobeying a police dispersion command.
