Have you ever used a typewriter?

Yes! I am trying to write letters to my friends with one I bought second-hand as a way to both keep offline and in touch with people I like

Who's your favorite fictional journalist?

What does it mean to be a journalist?

It means i can tell stories that matter to me, share work I believe in and hopefully inspire people to start writing

What tools and software do you use to do your job?

Google Docs and a Canadian Oxford English Dictionary. Strunk and White, Amis’s book The King’s English. My phone.

What's your favorite social network?

Twitter, for the way it lets me connect with so many people

Who do you wish followed you?

Anyone who’s interested in my work! I try not to worry too much about who follows me

Why did you become a journalist?

I enjoyed writing and telling stories. After reading Hunter Thompson it seems like something that was right for me.

What story are you most proud of writing or working on?

My personal essay on GRS, which was both the most important thing I’ve gone through and one that meant a lot to me to get down on paper.

What's your favorite drink?

Black coffee

When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?

Reading in a chair, cat by my side
