Purpose. Human-adapted Bordetella parapertussis is one of the causative agents of whooping cough; however, there are currently no genotyping systems with high discriminatory power for this bacterial pathogen. We therefore aimed to develop a multilocus variable-number tandem repeat analysis (MLVA) for human-adapted B. parapertussis . Methodology. Four highly polymorphic variable number tandem repeat (VNTR) loci in the B. parapertussis genome were selected and amplified by multiplex PCR.

A dataset of 120 GHz millimeter-wave radar vital signals with synchronized reference recordings
Abstract Millimeter-wave (mmWave) radar is widely recognized as a critical tool for contactless, continuous human sensing across multiple scenarios. Yet, there is a lack of high-quality datasets with synchronized reference measurements, especially at higher frequencies, which are essential for advancing signal processing methods and improving the retrieval of vital parameters. To address this gap, we introduce a mmWave radar vital signal dataset collected with synchronized reference recordings.

Research on Fast Time-Frequency Reconstruction Algorithm for Wideband Compressive Spectrum Sensing
1. Introduction With the advancement of wireless communication technologies, the scarcity of spectrum resources has emerged as a critical constraint limiting the performance improvement of wireless communication systems. Consequently, Cognitive Radio (CR)—a technology capable of dynamically sensing and utilizing spectrum resources—has garnered considerable attention [1].

Targeting aging and age-related diseases with vaccines - Nature Aging
Abstract Aging is a major risk factor for numerous chronic diseases. Vaccination offers a promising strategy to combat these age-related diseases by targeting specific antigens and inducing immune responses.
"Experimental and Modeling of Biomass Char Gasification" by Ruochen Wu
Abstract This investigation provides a comprehensive experimental dataset and kinetic model for biomass gasification, over a wide temperature range (1150-1350 °Ï¹) in CO2, H2O and the combination of these two reactant gases over the mole fraction ranges of 0 to 0.5 for H2O and 0 to 0.9 for CO2. The data come from a unique experimental facility that tracks continuous mass loss rates for poplar wood, corn stover and switchgrass over the size range of 6-12.5 mm.
