1 Introduction We currently face a climate crisis due to the excessive consumption of fossil fuels;[1] yet, this consumption will persist until viable alternative fuels are developed. Solar energy is the most abundant energy source available to us, however, the diurnal cycle limits the availability of solar energy to the daytime.[2] But by capturing and converting solar energy into a chemical fuel, we can make solar energy available at the point of demand.

Bottom-up computational design of shape-selective organic macrocycles for humid CO2 capture - Nature Chemistry

Abstract The capture of CO2 emissions using porous solids is challenging because polar water molecules bind more strongly in most materials than non-polar CO2 molecules. This is a challenge for both flue gas capture and for direct air capture alike. Here we develop a bottom-up computational screening workflow to calculate the binding energy of 27,446 diverse molecular fragments with both CO2 and water.

What Apps Exist That Can Be Leveraged for Speech and Language Surveillance in Children? A Scoping Review

This scoping review sort to identify and evaluate apps designed to screen or monitor speech, language, and communication (SLC) development in young children. Ten apps were identified, targeting various SLC domains, with four able to process data, while the others required downloading and processing with external software. This review suggests that apps have the potential to revolutionise the screening of SLC in young children at a population level, although more research is needed.
