Black Trans Woman Davonta Curtis Killed in Her Chicago Apartment Original

Police have arrested Curtis’ alleged killer Deandre Bell, 24, and charged him this week with first-degree murder and possession of a stolen vehicle, according to CW news affiliate WGN. Initial media reports of Curtis’ death last week misgendered her as a man.
