After a standout freshman season with the Vols, Ament was selected by the Miami Heat with the 13th overall pick in the 2026 NBA Draft and traded to the Milwaukee Bucks as part of the blockbuster trade for Giannis Antetokounmpo. Head Coach Rick Barnes has now had 11 players drafted during his time in Knoxville, with Ament being his fourth first-round pick and first since Dalton Knecht in 2024.
