PALM BEACH COUNTY, Fla. — Palm Beach International Airport has officially been renamed President Donald J. Trump International Airport (DJT) Thursday. To celebrate the rebrand, Eric Trump was the first to land at the airport after the official name change. The Trump Force Once plane landed at 5:01 a.m. Thursday. "As a son, and someone who flies out of this airport nearly every day, I will forever be proud to see the initials “DJT” on my boarding pass," Trump wrote on X.

The St. Lucie County Parks & Recreation Department is hosting three sessions using their new rip current simulation machine, which creates controlled currents in swimming pools to teach proper escape techniques.

Gas leak shuts down lanes of Florida's Turnpike North in south Palm Beach County

PALM BEACH COUNTY, Fla. — A gas line leak on Florida's Turnpike is causing traffic delays in southern Palm Beach County. Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) troopers responded to the gas leak at mile marker 73 of the Turnpike North at around 10:45 a.m. Tuesday, prompting lane closures. All northbound lanes are currently closed and traffic is being diverted to the Sawgrass Expressway exit in Broward County.
