The 112 million Gen-Z Americans born since about 1997 have no personal recollection of the tragic events of that day. Just like the generations following the Pearl Harbor attack, they know of these attacks mostly from history books. For the rest of us, 9/11 is still with us. My memories are deeply personal.

President Trump has temporarily suspended the planned 50% tariffs on about $20 billion in goods imported from Canada. The tariffs were set to go into effect Tuesday night at midnight, but the two countries have agreed to pause them until Friday while they work on a deal.
