Industry Perspective on the Pharmacokinetic and Absorption, Distribution, Metabolism, and Excretion Characterization of Heterobifunctional Protein Degraders
Abstract Targeted protein degraders (TPDs), specifically the bifunctional protein degraders discussed in this manuscript, consist of two linked ligands for a protein of interest and an E3 ligase, resulting in molecules that largely violate accepted physicochemical limits (e.g., Lipinski’s Rule of Five) for oral bioavailability.
Scholarships alone are not enough to get more qualified female teachers into Nigeria's schools
Nigeria’s northern rural regions suffer acute shortages of both female teachers and female pupils. UNICEF estimates that over half of all girls are not in school in the north while under a third of all primary school teachers are women. To boost the numbers of female teachers in rural locations, an ambitious scholarship scheme was established to train young women from these areas to become teachers in their home villages. It was hoped this would encourage more girls to enrol in school.
Why community participation in schooling is struggling in Nigeria: a view from the ground
Nigeria has more out-of-school children than any other country in the world. Around 10.5 million children between the ages of 5 and 14 are not in school. A key government strategy to get more children into school, and improve school quality, is to increase parental and community participation.

So, as air travel cautiously awakens from hibernation, now’s a good time to start planning for a “post-Covid” trip – and there’s no better destination for re-energizing the soul than the mesmerizing desert landscapes of Namibia.

Travelling in Namibia – your questions answered | Travel Feature
Boasting the biggest "wow factor" are the rippling dunes of the Namib Desert. They are at their most spectacular around Sossusvlei, where they change colour with the light and are interspersed with ghostly clay pans dotted with skeletal trees. The Namib is also home to Namibia’s Small Five – extraordinary, acrobatic, desert-dwelling creatures including cartwheeling spiders, dancing lizards and headstand-performing beetles.

Sara Humphreys checks in with Josh Holloway before ‘Colony’ season finale
I can’t believe the season finale of Colony is upon us already, but it is. From minute one of episode one, I’ve been itching to get a look at the “hosts” who have invaded Earth, and hopefully tomorrow we’ll get a peek. This show is smart, gritty, sexy and rife with edge-of-your-seat tension. The lines between good and bad are blurry, and to be very honest, I change who I’m rooting for from week to week.
